How do I start a vineyard/winery?

One of the most frequent questions I get while running the tasting room is "how can I start my own winery?" Well, coming up at the beginning of February is the ultimate resource for anyone interested in getting involved in the Washington Wine Industry. The annual Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers (WAWGG) meeting is taking place in the Kennewick February 6-8. This years theme is "How to Washington" featuring classes on how to start both a vineyard and a winery. There is also a great trade show, where any budding entrepreneur can blow their retirement savings on chasing the dream. Come on, you only live once.
